Originally Black Jade, currently Teal, and still has its born-with 428.

I would think the color change affects the value, but since it's not a 100% correct resto (e.g. Flowmaster mufflers, etc) I'm guessing the builder just wanted to restore it the way he wanted it. Hard to argue with the end result.
