I know I relied on what was available about the L-78 Nova I purchaced lately. I feel I paid about $4 grand more for it than I should but how often do you get a chance to pick up a 7,000 mi '69 model car?

I took advantage of the good and the bad with out letting it anger me

You know Larry, you may have paid a little more for the car upfront, but if you follow this car through to completion using your own skills to do the work as you want to do and then enjoy the car awhile.. you'll have a lot less $$ in the finished product than the next guy would have who farms out all the work. Know what I mean? You did ok on that one.

I tried to do this on Saturday, but was unable for some reason. But, I want to apologize to the seller of this car in front of everyone. My goal was only to have the description clarified, which he did within a day. At that point, he had done what was right. There was no way for anyone to be misled at that point. For some reason, the whole situation got the best of me and I didn't let it drop. So, I apologize for my last post....the seller DID DO WHAT WAS RIGHT and in hindsight I would have NO PROBLEM purchasing anything from him. Sometimes I get my thoughts clouded and need to step back and evaluate. Sorry guys.

I'd say we give Gary credit for posting a reply to all that contained no 's, 's or expletives as I think he probably had the right to after the comments made.

Welcome aboard Gary.

I know this all happened months ago but I have to put my 2 cents in. The problem I have with this car is that when someone buys a car that can "afford" to pay $150k for a $50k car because he likes it, it drives up the price of every other car that the regular guy with $20-50k to spend should be able to get. Now we are paying $10k for a plain-jane Camaro that needs a complete (body, engine, tranny, frame) restoration and in the end the regular guy either buys that "rustoration" project or nothing at all because the guy that can "AFFORD IT" pays $100-150k for the $20-50k car. Of course this is just one man's opinion.
