These heads appear to have never been milled and there has been no porting of any kind. I would have to cc the chambers to verify that they indeed had never been cut, but essentially I know the history of these heads. One head is date coded 4/6/70 and the other is 4/7/70. Originally they were on a customer’s car sometime between 1970 and 1973 when he left water in the engine during the Winter, this is what cracked the heads. My uncle then used them as lightweight mockup pieces while he built the chassis for his Dirt track modified car which used an iron headed 600 HP 427 which he ran in 1973 and 1974. These heads have basically been in storage since 1973.
There could be cracks in other areas and after fixing the obvious cracks pressure testing would be the only way to verify the repairs. I have gotten estimates to repair these heads and the estimates range from $200 to $300.
