Default 1969 BLUE carpet

Back in the 80's I tore out the original carpet from my Z28 and I distinctly remember that it was lighter than the reproduction blue carpet that you can buy from Rick's, etc... Does anyone have a source for the correct shade of blue or have a piece of original blue carpet from their 69? Perhaps from a crappy deluxe door panel for something? Any help would be appriciated as I would like to get my interior back together. Thanks!

Tommy,

-------Call Auto Custom Carpet and ask them to send you all thier blue samples. It may cost you five bucks, but Im willing to bet you will find a more suitable blue. Then call them and have it made.........Bill S

just tore the original carpet out of my 69 dark blue interior standard. im pretty sure i threw it all away it was in pretty bad shape but i can check tonight and see if theres any of it left anywhere in the car.
your carpet may have faded that much if parked in the sun, the repro carpet i got matched up pretty close.
let me now if youre needing any original dark blue interior pieces im getting rid of most of my original interior and some of its in decent shape.
