On export cars that I've seen they usually have a registration tag attached under the hood shwoing that it was legal in the particular country that it was originally registered in. I also concur with Jan's post completely. I researched the topic of sunroofs in first gens back in '99 and '00 with the guys over at Team Camaro and at Chevytalk this is exactly what we determined with the help of a few european members. [/ QUOTE ] The cars that went through Antwerp has a special trimtag, usually placed on the passengerside inner fender or firewall. If the car was assembled in Antwerp it only had this tag. If the car was built in the USA it would have its American tag also. Other countries with their own tags as far as I know is Switzerland (they had their own plant), Netherland, France and Denmark. All GM cars sold in Sweden came directly from the USA. Jan |

Anyone remember the white 69 SS/RS out of California that was on eBay about a year ago? That car had a sunroof. Believe it was dealer installed.

And Canadian built/shipped cars too?. ~ Pete ![]() [/ QUOTE ] Not any that was sold through the GM organisation but there might be some privately imported. Swedes working in the US or Canada often brought cars back home when they moved back. There could be some but I don't know. We have just over 900 first generation Camaros here in Sweden, about 25 of them are made in Antwerp and about half of them have sunroofs. A qualified guess is that 3/4 of the 1st gen Camaros in Sweden have been imported after 1970. BTW the 1969 Camaro is the most common Camaro in Sweden. ![]() Jan |

Doesn't Copo-Anders have a '67 Impala built at the Oshawa Ontario or St. Therese Quebec plant...I seem to recall him documenting his through GM Canada Vintage Services?. Sorry for sidetracking this Sunroof thread.. ~ Pete ![]() |
