Default Quick Powerglide ID question - air cooled - 1962?

Hey Folks!
I dug out an old Powerglide from my garage this weekend (trying to clear out some excess "stuff") and I don't remember what car it came from...
It may have come out of an old '62 Corvette I parted out about 150 years ago??? It has slotted or rectangular holes in the bellhousing portion, no provisions for trany cooler lines, and I think it used to have a tailhousing with shifter mounts on it (tailhousing got swapped with a non-mount style at some point through the years). I think the old torque convertor (long since gone) had cooling fins on it...
Sorry, haven't checked for any numbers/codes and no pics at the moment, but you guys probably already know what it's for anyway.... Or maybe you can coach me on what codes to look for????
As usual, thanks for access to the vast knowledge base on this site!!!!
Charlie
P.S. Anybody got a use for this core, I definitely don't need it?????
