I went and saw it Wednesday night and was going to post yesterday, but got busy at work and forgot. I don't really know where to begin, but overall I am very interested in the car. I wasn't able to drive it, so me and good buddy of mine that's another SYC member are going to look at it and drive it on Sunday. The owner has one of the most impressive personal garages I've ever been in and the Nova was in the back corner, so there were 4 or 5 cars in front of it and it was late in the evening. Anyway, the person that painted that car needs to be castrated! The paint of the car looks good, but the overspray is ridiculous. I've seen far worse, but it's just a shame that someone was so sloppy on such a nice car. You'll see it in the pics below. It's a VERY original car. It was completely cold when I got there and it started on the very first try and idled almost perfectly. No smoke and no funny sounds from under the hood. I'm half deaf, so my buddy will be able to hear it this weekend in case I missed something. The interior is cherry and the AC blows nice and cold. The only thing that doesn’t work in the interior is the clock in the dash – even the door buzzer still works. The owner just had the AM radio and the factory speakers restored and he’s going to install them between now and Sunday. The documentation he has on the car is incredible. It’s too much to describe. The only thing he doesn’t have is the build sheet, but he said he hasn’t really looked for it in the car. He is very negotiable on the price, so I think I can get it for about $20K. The reason he's selling it is to make room in his garage for the 3 cars he has coming. He has only 1 space available, so he's selling this Nova and a ‘71 Vette. Here are the pics I took. Check 'em out and let me know what you think.
