Hi guys,
I know this is difficult without pics to answer, but a guy I know is looking to unload a V8 Vega 2 door hardtop he's had sitting around for 20 years. It's a 1973 (I believe), has a 350 small block and Saginaw T-10 4-speed. It has a narrowed Ford 9-inch, not sure about gear ratio. Car is in primer, needs minor body work, has very solid floors and quarters, just a bit of rust around the rear window. He drained the tank, put in fresh oil and new gaskets and seals in the Holley carb and it fired right off. Lays down tire in just about every gear since it has 215/14 radials on back, with enough room in the wheel wells to probably fit some 295's. He needs some cash and knows I am a car guy so he asked if I wanted it. I have space for it, but would likely just look to flip it since my hot rod days are over and I'm just doing stock restoration stuff now. Any thoughts on value for a running, tire burning, 4 speed V8 Vega coupe? Thanks
