Question Why Do Some Cars Show Up At Auctions Numerous Times?

It's a 1970 Buick GS455 Stage 1 Prototype/Show Car.

https://www.mecum.com/lots/DA0917-29...ck-gs-stage-1/

It will be part of the Mecum Dallas Sept. auction. This is the 5th time this car has been through a Mecum auction. For the most part, it has sold each time:

Chicago 2104: $82,500

Kissimmee 2013: $75,000

St Charles 2011: $72,500

Indy 2011: $125,000 High Bid

Is the buying and selling of this car like some stocks? Buy, Sell - make some money then buy and sell it again and make some more money?
