69 Muncie side cover

Hello folks
For a 69 Nova which is the correct side cover for full functionality, ie neutral safety switch, and if I have a 68 dated trans would there be any other recommended functional updates. I am not a 100 % numbers guy for this car just want correct look and everything to work as it should factory wise.
