Default Hurst Shifter Rebuild Question

Hey there I bought a Tool & we used it to work on a Vintage 3138 Comp Camaro Shifter. I was going to buy a rebuild kit and have the parts plated by local plater. When cleaning and inspecting the Arms we noticed some wear on the grooves we are trying to determine if these are "as manufactured" or if indeed this is a sign of old age and requires repairs? The wear is only on 2 of the three arms which got me wondering, Can you take a peek at the attached pictures and give us some input.

When I previewed the photos they do not seem to display the slope-angle of the slot wear as much as I would have liked to convey.
Thanks,

JIM WEAVER
