Based on research as well - i agree with Ricks analysis...
My non converted 68 Yenko - continued to have the ss emblem on the front as you would expect, as some of the dealer tasks to convert were not completed, such as the front and rear badge were not removed or modified (like the rear one being painted) . Some of there restored cars are not alway 100% correct - the usual liberties taken by the owner or restorer, but as i said above, Ricks research is correct.
