Most car guys changed oil and filter at 500 miles. Expecting a car to have an assembly line only filter is just silly. What's next? Have to prove it has the original oil in it? Have to have original 1969 air in the tires?

I get that there are a few 100 to 1500 mile cars out there, and if someone wants to preserve one of those, that's fine.
I cannot speak for 1st Gen Legends, but for 2nd Gen Camaros in the Legends class, no points deductions for non-embossed filters. The Legends judging criteria is constantly evolving, as it should, and I can see where correct appearing filters, less embossing, will be the standard.
