Master key
It didn’t take much to unlock the hardtop and convertible cars. Just a coat hanger.
I actually made my custom user friendly unlocking device. So I was out messing in the shop today and going through some of my old tools and found one of my favorites. I had to use this several times “legally” back in the 70’s-80’s. I knew my ‘66 had a few scars in the LH 1/4 glass vertical chrome (that someone else did) ….. and it looks like on frequent occasions from the deep grooves ….. weird. Also took a few interior photos of the OEM Red. Amazing how it held up with over 120,000 mile use.
