Default Assembly line valve caps 1969- 1970

Had 2 of the type in first pic.
Both were from 1969 new condition factory spare tires.
1 Chevelle and 1 Corvette.
Second pic is the Corvette one

Pic 3 is part of a large sack of old caps I bought looking for type in first 2 pics. None like that but plenty DILL 627 ones.
All in pic are 627's and have more.

Question is I see the 627 referenced routinely as the "correct Assy line" caps.

What is your take?
I completed the set of first type but what is the real story with the 627?

Definitely very common.
Any that need 627's can have sets for shipping cost as I do not need them. Have well over 200.

ADDIND ALL extra 627 caps are spoken for.
