The SC-Maple Grove show was the normal! The bright spot for me was seeing a some nice big block novas there for the first time, including Stan Falenski's '69 Dusk Blue L78 which won 1st place in stock class. Bernies '69 Cortez Silver Camaro was the lone COPO car.
The requisite Yenko clone car was in attendance. This year's clone was a sad attempt at a Yenko Deuce Nova. The car was a black '71 Nova with some stripes/emblems, you can imagine how incorrect this thing was. I am glad that I did not take mine to the show, and then have to explain why its the real one! But for every low point there is a high point, Joe Swezey found me a properly dated spare tire jack in the swap meet area for $25, and I found an untorn armrest pad for $10, - good deals! Marlin
