Default Re: U-S-A-1 plate

I communicated this thread to Jim Rohn of Phoenix and the following was his response........

"this was bought at Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix in 1977, the 1st year I moved here

Tim Blaylock (sp?) was the parts guy I bought it from, I think he is at Thorobred Chevrolet now

They had two types, the "disco" stars and stripes and this one

I bought both

both were shrink wrapped and both I still have (well, just the stars&stripes now)

I have had a slew of "do-gooders" telling me their opinions

some of the earlier versions I understand (from the do-gooders) were metal with a painted back (either white, green or blue, depends on who the "expert" is) and would rust when they got chips on the face

All of what I listed is factual as this was sold at a GM dealership 30 years ago.

Any other intrepretation/opinions of the facts are just that."

Jim Rohn says he bought THE EBAY plate in question in 1977.
I have no interest in any of this, other than my wanting to verify the honesty or integrity of the seller.

Thanks,
