Hi--
I'm new to the boards. I have located a full 427 engine with matching codes and an MP block, which I believe is correct for a 1969 COPO Chevelle. My question is this: the guy selling it says that there's no VIN # stamped on the block. Is this possible? He says there's no signs of restamping. What do you think about this? Not sure what to believe as all COPO engines I've seen have had a VIN# stamped on it. Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks. Tom |
