They've been in trouble for a while...and how did they respond this year? By agreeing to raise the PRO class payouts, all while raising the entry for the Sportsman guys! And now they've tightened up the grade point policies @ events, which basically shuts the door to the poor folks who can't afford to travel around to every divisional just to collect enough points...basically further cutting down their customer base. But they labeled it as a result of "pit parking complications"...you can't make this stuff up! I've always entertained the idea of an NHRA stocker ride, but I'm not sure the NHRA even cares if those cars show up anymore? IHRA seems to, but there's not enough tracks on the left of the Mississippi...

I thought it was HILARIOUS the way "the Sarge" had 'em in a tight spot over the nitro shortage...most folks don't realize how close the NHRA was to not having enough nitro to finish the year!
