Gives a whole new meaning to the word "restoration and detail".

#002 will be auctioned by R-M in Scottsdale this month; bring a FAT wallet.

A friend of mine Bill Scott (now deceased)was the chief mechanic on the Penske Grand sport. I lived in Newtown Sq.PA where penske race shop was located and remember the Penske car flying down Rt 252 over the springton reservoir. I was young at the time, but that rumble was deafening. Bill gave me video of Roger Penske driving the Gransport at Elkhart Lake. The car had a camera mounted inside and he was reaching speeds over 140mph.

Around 1969 I recall Mark doing a power slide into the Sun Oil research facility also located in Newtown Sq. He was driving a 69 RS Z28, orange and black stripes and vinyl.
