Schoneye, swap out those gold cad bolts from the upper a-arm bushings - I'm thinking they should be black oxide. That alt wire plug looks gray - I think it should be white. Looks like you got the dust flaps on the right side of the wheelhouses - I learned that one the hard way!

However, was there a difference from the small block alternator plugs in comparison to the big blocks??? Reason I bring this up is because mine has never been replaced on my 70 big block car and it is a grey ended plug just like what Ken has there... Rich ![]()

The original A arm bolts were very pitted. Where we send parts out to be phosphated, it's 65.00 for a bolt, or a bucket of bolts. We have a 69 camaro in here also, whose owner could care less if he has cad bolts or not. So we used his, waited until we had a half bucket of hardware, and changed out the bolts.
The alt plugin on the original harness, and both of my deuces are the same as pictured. |
