We had a great time in Canada. The Pens winning the cup Friday night was the perfect way to start the weekend. Gary Kilbride the VP of the Ontario CC and the other members do a great job with their show. The weather was perfect and there was a very strong turnout. There were @10 2010 Camaros in attendance in many colors. It was great meeting some of the sYc Canadian members. Zedder and Hylton it was good to meet you both. Here are a few highlights..BKH

More cool Camaros

I just love the extensive detail that GM incorporated just into a wheel-cover

I love this picture. It shows multiple staples on the inner skirts. One Yenko we restored also had twice as many as needed. One judge told me I should have fixed that mistake. I really don't consider that a mistake, its more of a fingerprint to me...BKH

Thats the problem. Too many people restore these cars as perfect museum pieces and not how they were actually built on the line. It is called history and that needs to be retained to a degree. I restore them as I find them.

Great pictures Brian and thanks for sharing.

That is true about these cars. I had my LOS 1968 Z at the show and had at least 10 guys tell me my car was painted wrong because I had painted the wiper cowl white to match the way it was before the car was restored.. Trying to explain this is how LOS 1968 Z28s were done compared to Norwood cars was impossible with some guys. Everybody seems too know better even if they had not seen the car before restoration.

You mean painted like this...

I agree to many experts.
A few years ago a friend had a NOR original paint 68 Z28 stripe delete car and the whole inner cowl what shot with white paint...oop's. I am still kicking myself for not getting a photo of that one.

It was great to meet you as well Brian. Thanks for bringing up two beautiful examples of how they should be restored.
