My plans is to try get it to me in Sweden.

Its a 348 Special Hi Perf or a 409 Car.

The Swedish guy that was going to help me ship it to Sweden have stolen it from me.

Its somewere down in Atlanta now.

That´s sad to hear Niclas. I just hate these guys who take your money and don´t deliver.
I´m glad I have my friend Kimmert in C.T. He fixes everything from paying the seller, to delivering it to the buyer in Sweden. He´s trustworthy.
I hope you get the car in the end. You must be as crazy as I am, because I would not hesitate to work on that car if I had the time. Would be a real cool car when finished.

Might be a good idea--you might be able to track him down via the board. Worth a shot....

Too funny. Annie and I took the owner of Brandts out for Christmas dinner last night and I showed her this picture. It made her evening. She is 88 and still runs the international company and Nationwide race sponsorship and loves seeing their stuff on the road. She also loved the car as she is also a gearhead. Not bad for an 88 year'ol lady.

Did some hunting this past week. Pontiacs first.

The GTO is a 4v 4speed A/C car.

Here's a couple of interesting Oldsmobiles. The green car is what's left of a base 442 post 4speed car.

And here's a 4speed post Rallye 350:

It was wrecked hard in the 70's and the corpse was picked clean. The original engine, trans, and 3.90 rear are still floating around the area, supposedly.

Old street racer 55 Chevy, last tagged in 1977:
