This opens the old issue of, 'what is an unrestored survivor car worth in relation to a restored car'? I say survivors are worth MORE. To me its supply and demand...go to a car show or cruise night..I'll bet the ratio of restored cars to nice original is 30 to one...

SS +
4 speed +
Red +
350 hp +

all pluses...

I'd say that is worth at least $40k, if not more.

Mike Crown seems to have a similar car on his site, but an automatic...no price on it yet there...

What's the asking price? Was it bought new in PG?
I'll bet there's a lot of undiscovered cars in the Cariboo/central interior. Guys would quit school at 16, go work in the sawmills, and their first car would be a musclecar. My friend owned the GM dealer in 100 Mile House, and a lot were sold there. Of course a lot were crashed. Give a 16 year old a fast car and a few beers, and it would end up upside down in the woods.

The red 67 on Mike Crown's site is what I would call an in-betweener. It too is a #'s matching, documented, 350hp, but as you noted, it's automatic which does make a difference. While it is still mostly original, it's had a repaint and needs paint now. For most, that removes it from survivor status. That car will be priced somewhere south of 30k. So again, without good photos (including the deck stamp, trim and vin tags) and a better description, it's next to impossible to give the OP a true estimate of what the car he is looking at might actually be worth. It could be worth anywhere between 20 and 65k!

He just wanted a price estimate...not a car inspection...we have to assume all is correct on the car...of course it's worth less dough if it's a repaint or not numbers matching...but we have to ASSUME it's legit to give it a price estimate...on Mike Crowns car...I'd be pretty surprised if that car is priced under 30K
