I would consider reapplying the stripes, get her running/driving with a mechanical overhaul, tidy up the interior to make it comfortable and enjoy the car as-is. If your dream 1969 Chevelle SS Post Sedan happens to turn up, you won't have too much money in the Olds and an easy seller... if that's the way you decide to go.

Personally, I really like patina on a car!

I think we are on the same page about what I plan to do with the car, but this baby is home for good! If I get a Chevelle again it will be additional:-) 2024:-)

My car is destined to have patina whether I like it or not, not a lot of cash for shine anyways:-)

Ryan what are the plans for this beauty. A complete restoration or get it running and drive it. The body looks really nice from what I could see in the pics.

Hi Mike:-)

In General:

Step #1: Nothing but investigation, documentation, research, and purchasing of needed items, till after MCACN, so they let me bring her to the BF/HG Display.

Step #2: Clean, polish, scrub, service, repair, reinstall every item that came with the car that I can still use, install new parts purchased during Step #1 such as carpet, headliner, seat covers, rebuild the mechanicals, get it certified, and drive it as is.

Step #3: Undetermined.....I have a feeling it will be so much fun with crappy paint I may want to have spot repairs done and enjoy the heck out of it.

Step #4: Drive it to Chevelle, (park out behind the porta-potties) and Oldsmobile shows all over the place!!! (No Truck, No Trailer, she will get wet, she will be ok:-)
