So apparently we cant offer any tips other than "nice job" and "looks good". Scuncio said what I said weeks ago about powder and pitting.
Powder coating his frame is the wrong idea and will not turn out like he wants it to. He has his springs in the blast powder pile. No idea if he plans on coating them but that is a bad idea too. New springs are relatively cheap. Eaton says this about powdercoating them...
<span style="font-weight: bold">In order to get the paint particles hot enough to bond they must be heated very close to the annealing temperature of the spring steel. Annealing means the heat treatment of the springs is being removed. Annealed springs will no longer support any weight.</span>
Im sorry Im not saying thatta boy with everything I see. Im trying to save him some headaches and money wasted on stuff he doesnt need to do.
