Speaking of loaning money, where does the line form, and what are the rates? Only kidding about that, but all kidding aside, that is one special El Camino. A question I must ask involves the other L89 El that "will never be seen again". Totaled? Out of USA? Please elaborate as inquiring minds want to know.

----Dave,,,It was brought up on this sight by Tony (scunsio). He owned it at that time, but it really needed everything. He put it up for sale here with no takers. Eventually he sold it to some guy without the only important pieces that were left, the aluminum heads. The guy just didnt seem to care about the most important part. Tony is almost positive that the car is beyond help at this point. Hopefully, Tony will come on here and correct me if any of this is wrong........Bill S

Thanks Bill...I have since heard the car was flipped to a guy on the east coast. He may take more of an interest in restoring it than the previous owner did. It would have made a neat bookend with Charley's black L89! |
