----I have to make a correction as I have just actually looked up the numbering system for 72 Vettes. The whole system was changed from 71. The first 72 built had a serial number
1Z37K2S500001. The last 72 made had a serial number 1Z37K2S527004. I was assuming that the 72 ID numbers followed the 71 method which was in place for many years. The engine number mentioned has a 1 after the S.....Bill S Last edited by olredalert; 09-12-2017 at 03:08 PM.
