He was great on Letterman..Real dead pan humor that wasn't polished.His skits were dead on and he bonded with Dave.
He moved onto Carson and his skits were too polished and he didn't have as good as a connection with Carson.I always avoided him on Carson.
Thank God we have Letterman reruns.Till this day,all my friends & I still reference SUPER Dave Osborne bits.

Loved Super Dave, still see him today and laugh. Glad he entertained and made us laugh. Agree Letterman bonded well with Dave. Never was a Carson fan. Loved Letterman shows and humor and missed that show so much. RIP Dave.
