L-88 torque convertor with the six mounting lugs for the bolts were used. Approximate stall was around 2800 rpm depending upon torque of your specific combination. 12" or 13" diameter.

I think it is a 12” converter and stall was 2,200-2,600, they were the only 6 bolt converter from gm at the time

I'm not sure what, if any, different stall speeds were selected. Last time I checked a few parts sources there was still a few of these floating around. -wilma

The 6 lug converter was used up through at least the 73 Z28... my brother's first 73 z28 with TH400 had the 6 lug converter, FWIW the auto for the Z28 was more expensive.
