I remember reading somewhere that Cooper and John Carradine used to race their doosies along Mulholland in the forties.. It breaks the bank IMO. Built by Max Balchowsky,driven by McQueen and Bill Hickman at Cotati raceway, probably the most cloned pony car out there. There is no other star/car combo that gets close, excluding H.B. Halicki and Eleanor naturally.
