Here are some pics of the hood so you can compare the under structure differences if not sure of what I'm referencing. Also the hood's stamped date is "40"
Under Hood Structure Differences 1. The sides above where the hood hinges mount are totally flat throughout the length of the hood. 2. The oval holes up front on either side are also flat not dropping downward on the inner portion. 3. No Drain Hole Provisions 4. The Center of the Hood doesn't have the raised outline
