Sorry Tim. Can't tell you how much I love this car. I've been toying with the idea of putting the original engine back in but every time I drive it and that cam comes in around 4500-5000 I forget all about stock.

So if "cam comes in around 4500-5000", where do you shift it? how does it run down low?

It runs about as good as any 427 with a ZL1 cam down low. Things start getting interesting around 4500 and I shift around 6500.

I agree Paul, a car needs to be exciting. The heads had quite a bit of port work.

I'm glad to see the original black plates back with the car...if I remember right, the plates are written on the front page of the protecto-plate.
