Yes, the tank straps were hanging when the car was painted. Looks nice! How is the front valance on the car? They were a polyethylene type plastic and tend to crack in the corners and at the mounting points.
Got any engine compartment photos? Does the fuel gauge work? I ask because that wire with the star washer terminal end is the ground for the fuel tank sender. It should be screwed to the backside of the bulkhead there somewhere on the side that faces the tank. Last edited by njsteve; 03-23-2021 at 07:54 PM.
