This was at the NMCA race at Indy last year.

I don't know anything about it beyond what you see in the photo.

That hauler is Bruce Litton’s. Top Fuel driver and owner of Litton Trailer Sales right across from the entrance to Lucas Oil Raceway in Indy. Here it is with a cool 65 Nova on board.

Ah! I wish I knew that at the time; I would have spoken to him.

I got my Haulmark from that location, back in 2001. Excellent to deal with.

Sidebar:

You know how when you are at the races and you see these enclosed trailers and they are all banged up?

I vowed I would not be that guy. I was going to keep my trailer nice and straight, and in good shape overall.

I was able to keep my vow until we stopped for fuel on the way home. Pulling out of the Shell station in Perry Michigan I drug the back of it coming out onto the roadway.

I hadn't even made it home with my new trailer before I had to fix the back corner.

Sidebar (continued):

So - I ended up making a little aluminum patch to repair the exterior of the corner, and made some skid plates underneath to keep it from happening again.

Then the fun started:

1st trip: Bradenton, Florida. A lady was not paying attention and ran into the back of the trailer while I was stopped at a toll booth. A piece of polished aluminum diamond plate covered that up.

Trip #2: Alabama. Caught a hail storm there. Managed to get the car in the trailer, and the Suburban under covered parking, but the roof, rear door and LH side of the trailer took a beating.

Tool box slides around inside and dings up the passenger door? Looks like a good place for a Flowmaster sticker.

Mowing and kick a rock into the side of the trailer sitting about 40 yards away? How about a vent cover goes there...

Blown tire wipes out the side? Time for a new fender and replace one piece of black aluminum panel.

This has got to stop. I'm running out of creative ideas to cover up the damage!

(lol)
