What was the best engine back in 68? Any Ram air? My friend has a Springmist Green original 18k mile car that was his dads, who bought it new in 1968, No ram air, but a 400 4 speed.

The 1968 RA II was a package. High flow heads, special cam with a 4.33 rear. With just a little distributor and carb tuning, car will run under 13 seconds in the quarter mile.

Ram Air I also available in 68. The RA I had std D port heads. The RA II had the really good round port heads.
