From Colvin's "by the numbers" book on 65-69 models (page 282) speaking specifically to the M22 in 67 MY:
"Although the M22 was available on the Passenger, Chevelle, and Corvette, Chevrolet accumulative production reports show that no Passenger or Chevelle models were produced. Only 20 L88 427/430 HP Corvettes were produced with the M22." I realize some new info may have been uncovered since the book came out, but that quote would indicate it was not even available in a Camaro. Would also indicate no Chevelle was built with an M22, even though it was available.
