QUESTION for you guys:

Do you feel, on average, that Mecum and Bj get a higher quality of car then the norm that one would find "shopping"?

I know that is sorta a vague statement as sure there are GREAT cars that sell without the help of these auction houses. Just thinking the average like these baby-'Birds or say 64.5-66 Mustangs.

I think it’s just auctions in general. Go on Hemmings or auto trader any selling site and if there’s 50 on a certain model for sale. 20 are auctions maybe one or two private sellers and the rest dealers.

AMEN to that, Rich! About the only place to find a car for sale by the actual owner is on collector car websites such as sYc, or word of mouth.
