I collected up quite a few Q-jets over the years (nothing that is presently collectible) and one of them had the original numbers scratched out and a silver sticker applied over the scratching. I peeled off the sticker in hopes of finding the correct numbers so I could order a kit ... only to find a scratched mess.
I am guessing it was done by a rebuilding company when they "restored" a carb for someone but needed to use the body off something else. Oh yeah ... I lost the sticker so now I have no idea what it once was or what it became ![]() |
