I've been trying to buy one for years, but I can't make a decision on which one.

And they change every year so you have to start from square one every year. Ask me how I know.

We bought a cheap one from Amazon in February of 2020 (that they don't sell anymore) but it's worked really well. I just take the front facing camera out when it gets really hot during the summers here-and put it back in when I drive. I leave the rear facing ones alone.
They sent me for free an additional hook up so that I could move the front facing camera between vehicles. The additional hook up they sent had the rear facing camera too! This is what we bought: APEMAN 1440P&1080P Dual Dash Cam, 1520P max, Front and Rear Camera for Cars with 3 Inch IPS Screen, Support 128GB, Driving Recorder with IR Sensor Night Vision, Motion Detection, Parking Monitor
