What a HUGE loss to the music world. He was in a way, WAY underrated but a force. I enjoyed alot of his stuff over the years. He loved classic cars!
We have seen alot of great guitarists go in our life time. George Harrison BB King Jimi Hendrix Gary Moore Duane Allman Prince Steve Clark Rory Gallagher Terry Kath Eddie Van Halen Michael Hedges Alvin Lee Roy Buchanan Alan Collins Stevie Ray Vaughan Rusty Young Mike Mitchell Jeff LaBar Paul Cotton Don Everly Rickie Lee Reynolds Pat Martino Michael Nesmith Randy Rhoads Brian Jones Roy Clark Johnny Cash Kurt Cobain Chuck Berry Jimmie Bain Cliff Burton John Lennon The list goes on and on for guitarists and musicians... Yeah sad news. To soon. RIP Mr. Beck...
-dannystarr- Thanks for listing Terry Kath. He was a monster on guitar. Jimi Hendrix was a big fan of him.

Mark,
You are correct. Jimi Hendrix said that Terry Kath was his favorite player. Terry unfortunately grabbed a gun he thought was unloaded, and jokingly put it to his head and pulled the trigger. He WAS NOT playing Russian Roulette, as was previously stated. Big loss for sure.. D |

There was a nice documentary done on Terry. His daughter put it together. It's very well done and talks about everything.
