She loved the little thing and the mileage, but just a quick look at it and I knew I would never own one of those flimsy cars.
IMO, Ford did a tremendous job on several product lines thereafter, and was on the right track until the mid-2000's. Now they are at sub-Mustang-II engineering and quality levels.
