What are the details of the 68? I remember seeing this car posted on FB last year. Glad something is finally happening with it!

No! i dont think that would be the same car as that is his favorite and he wont ever part with it. there is another in the neighboring town just like it.

This morning Gordon OK'd me offering some details. Also says eman the buyer of the convert is a good guy, one of us so to speak!

'68 Z24 Custom Coupe (notch back) Seafrost Green black buckets, NOM, TH400 3.07 open rear, no a/c. Sold new in Alhambra CA. NFS! This pic is from his old place, taken 1990. That's the blue convert in the background. I didn't't take any pix on more recent visits.

i bought the other 455 GS white interior numbers matching. doing my part to keep his dream alive. i think im maxed out. i really appreciate Gordie passing the torch.

67since67,

Gordon told me what he paid in late 80's for the convertible i grew up on that side of town and there was quite a few nice cars in that yard years back. the price was a wopping $175 dollars delivered! i think that was a good investment on his part. lol gotta love it. i think thats as good as my $150 71 911 Porsche. once in a lifetime we get a bone.

First thing ill do is clean it out with hopes of locating a build sheet or broadcast sheet. from Los angeles. maybe on tank.
