Well, I'm already frustrated and haven't got very far. Somehow a date got assigned to the pictures I wanted to post, and that date is not even close to correct. Can't figure out how to change it.

You can edit the date Bill.
Click on the date that you want to change and the calendar comes up. Then change the date
