Was at Volo last Friday looking at another car and stopped by this Camaro and took a look. For $500,000 it should be flawless. Being inside under fluorescent lights you can see everything. I was surprised.

Surprised how? Like in a good way surprised or a bad way surprised? Did it look like a $500,000 Car should look? Bill

Bill, To me it was a bit of a let down. There were no salespeople around to talk with. The hood was shut so couldn’t see the engine, so no comment on that. The interior looked to be very good. The paint had spots that were shrinking back and swelling. The trim had some dents removed and not finished well. I’m no expert by any means and not trying to throw Volo under the bus, but for 500,000 should have been better. Stopped by to look at an original W30. At the price they are asking that car has been given a life sentence. Never going to see the light of day again.

The old post shows some paperwork but not any paperwork from Motion Performance?
Is it just a Motion installed a 427 short block? Did Motion install any of their Phase III parts? The finned Motion emblem valve covers came out in 1970. |
