Beautiful car. Good to see you have kept it all these years.
Sorry to hear about the Holley nightmare, but not uncommon.
Curious why you never blacked out the grill.

Default grill

I had the grill and molding chrome plated. I've gone back and forth about painting it. It should be black, but I just can't bring myself to paint the chrome plating. It cost too much to cover the chrome with paint.

Maybe look into getting it wrapped ?? No damage to the chrome, if you decide to remove it later.

Question, well another question, what are the 427 emblems from ? I have a 494 in my '66 and want to change over the 396 emblems.
Thanks

Default Grill

I thought about wrapping it. But with the Holley EFI problems all I was concerned about was getting it running and not destroying my $15,000 BBC. The Holley EFI consumed me and all my resources. How that I have decided to move away from the EFI there are a few other items I want address. Detail items like the grill and the interior. This is a blue / blue car. I always liked the combination. The car had a new black interior when I purchased the car. I would like to redo it blue as it should be.

I hear ya on the Holley debacle consuming all resources. It sucks when that happens and it never does work out.
The 2 tone, Bright blue interior is a beautiful combination and will really make the exterior pop, even more.

My '66 was originally Black interior and I have a complete, Legendary, interior in Light Fawn still sitting in their packages after 8 years of waiting to get installed. Hopefully soon...
