Thanks! That pretty much is all I have researched to date. Very little information on release dates for each of the 3 models of Qjets used on the 396/325 TH400 engines during production for the ‘67 cars (including Passenger, Camaro SS, & Chevelle SS).

I have guessed the early example 7027200 was likely used only about 5 months, and the 3rd Type 7027216 began use the first of June (my engine was assembled May 10, so it likely had the late example 7027210)....I have seen this model for sale with date stamps in March of ‘67, so my car likely had the late model on it originally “however” it has been proven with other GM parts that some parts were available and used “earlier” than stated or believed historically.

So, this is not a general question but one that hopefully gets the attention of someone who has knowledge in this area or has a car with similar build dates with this engine/trans setup.
