I'm thinkin' it's probably not worth driving to TN to look at, unless it's priced absurdly low (unlikely). Block casting p/n is iffy based solely on those cell phone pics, but the block cast date is pretty clear and makes no sense compared with the stamped assembly date, as others have said here.

Bill n I discussed it last night and decided too many things aren’t lining up for it to be a real DZ motor.
He said he’d get back to us with pics n info on all the stuff they have. I saw several rally wheels in the background of one of the pics so you never know. I haven’t said anything about another goose chase story! A guy said he bought an old rough 72 Monti Carlo and it has a 69 DZ engine in it. Never know till you look!
