Pete; Thanks for supplying the link to the thread about the activities Frank Sanders was involved in during the 409-427 Z-11 era while Chevrolet was still factory backing and building lightweight race cars? Your pictures and articles were a tribute to the Frank Sanders legacy of the early 60’s in the competitive NHRA drag scene.

When focusing in on the connections of Harrell and Sanders Automotive invoice sheets Dick Harrell used for his work in transplanting of the 427’s for Yenko Chevrolet while in St. Louis, a question arose as to who was Frank Sanders?

Good work Dystra in bringing forth a member from the city this thread is about. A lot of names have been associated here in the legacy of Dick Harrell in his short tenure while in St. Louis. Always good for any of those having material relevant to share with others to enjoy & learn.
