When i receive cash for parts sold or a car, i check for counterfeit. Go to office depot or staples and buy a currency marker, and it will tell you if it is fake. Businesses use these all the time. Roger

Department of Transport ownerships are also being altered from "Salavge" to "Clear" or brand "None" or no "Branding". It happened to a Deal I had on an "Expedition" .Had to repurchase and re-import the vehicle to Canada after I sold it to a third customer with MTO paperwork that the Department says may take 2 months to update sometimes, and they don't take any responsibilty. So look out!!! these guys are getting help from people "inside $$$$". What a headache!

Thanks very much for the help. I sent an e-mail back stating the car was not available to anyone outside of the US or Canada.

Yes Sir you did. And lucky for me you turned out to be an honest man! But considering we are competitors in the same industry, you and I both knew how to find the other. Besides, I went to Vette Fest in Nov and I had more than one person tell me they would vouch for you. As I too, will now tell anyone.

For those who care, there is a good side to a wire transfer. The funds must be available in the buyer's acct prior to the wire being sent. Better yet,the receiving bank considers those funds "same day"... in other words, when the wire hits your bank, the money is yours. No holding/waiting period applies the way it would with a check.

PS- Jeff,I thought I might drive your baby to the grocery tomorrow. Gonna rain but I figure she could use a good rinsing off after sitting in the barn all winter. OK with you right?

Tom

Thanks for the reminder! But "SLOW DOWN"??????? Now that's funny! Maybe I should explain...at 2347.miles on the new truck, the check engine light came on last night. On Star says there is something wrong with the fuel line. Not wanting to cause farther damage, I didn't feel it wise to drive the truck 40+ miles this a.m. And, because the cops are just a bit too familiar with Muffin, I had no choice but to take the "other" Camaro.

Well, by the time I was done at the grocery store, and the grain elevator the trunk was full. Not to worry, the two bales of hay I picked up from a local farmer fit perfectly in the back seat. The real trouble came when I stopped at an antique store and discovered the rocking chair I simply had to have wouldn't fit in the passenger seat. However, a farm girl is never without baling wire and in a few minutes that ole rocked was anchored solidly on the roof.

I got home,(without getting arrested this time)unloaded the car and put her back just like she was never out...I got most of the hay out of the back. The scratches left by the rocker and baling wire are hardly noticeable after I hit them with a little bit of rubbing compound. And the trunk looks real good too since I hosed it out to get rid of the mess the exploded soda cans made.

Don't spend that bail money yet... After such a good trip, I think I am going to drive her to a hog roast tonight. You know, one of those deals where everyone drives out to the middle of a big field......
